West Ham takeover rumours resurface - possible Czech bid

Personally im sceptical that this will come to pass, BUT.........
According to Claretandhugh, we may well be in consideration again by the Qatari Royal Family who want to add an English club to the stable, they currently run and fund PSG, so would be under a different structure so as not to breech FIFA rules.

A report in the Daily Telegraph that the Qatari Royal family are looking at the possibility of buying an English club has increased speculation that West Ham could be a target.

Chelsea and Man U (although the Glasers will not admit it) are up for sale. If the money is there, would you want a top 6 club and the return now, or want to invest considerably and it may not pay off?

There was something about them being interested in a Championship club ... Villa Forest & QPR ... but personally I’m not sure they would be bothered about buying further down to save money and then build it up.
If it was us it would be about buying more or all of the Olympic site. Including the ground, Westfield etc etc
And having a football team as part of the package

Iif I were rolling in dosh and fancied buying a football club as a hobby.
The sight of our misfits showing up would turn my attention elsewhere,thats before they attempted to get cocky.

The Mall of Qatar is fucking huge as is Festival City. If you get dropped off at the wrong entrance you are walking for 15 minutes

If you were a Qatari with a few billion the attraction is there when you are looking at the options.
Can’t imagine they’d be interested in paying rent though so could be a happy ending for the government getting rid of the White Elephant Stadium.
As has been mentioned the Birmingham games and stadium might make that easier for the athletics cunts like Coe to swallow
